our story

The Wellness Club was born out of a desire to create a safe and inclusive space for students to connect and support each other through life’s challenges. It was founded by Maddie Warwick, a student who is passionate about mental health and currently leads the organization. The Wellness Club emerged as a response to the growing need for a community where students could openly discuss their struggles without fear of judgment. Maddie recognized that many students felt isolated in their experiences and wanted to offer a place where everyone could feel seen and valued.

mission & vision

Our club is rooted in the belief that mental health is just as important as physical health. Moreover, facing challenges is a natural part of life. We aim to break down the stigma that often surrounds mental health issues by fostering a culture of acceptance and compassion. Here, vulnerability is seen as a strength. Sharing your story is not only welcomed but encouraged. We understand that the pressures of school and social expectations can be overwhelming — and we want to provide a supportive environment where members can find some peace.

You Belong Here

Since our inception, The Wellness Club has grown into a vibrant community that welcomes all students, regardless of background or experience. We offer a variety of activities, including open discussions, educational presentations, and calming exercises — all designed to promote self-care and personal growth. Beyond our meetings, we are committed to making a positive impact through service learning projects that address mental health and well-being within the broader community. We invite you to join us as we continue to build a school environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to take charge of their mental health.
